Pada 21/09/2020, jam lebih kurang 1445hrs, bertempat di Pejabat Lahad Datu, setelah pengadu mendapat maklumat bahawa terdapat aktiviti aktiviti pemberian wang ikhlas sempena Pilihanraya Negeri Dun Sabah ke 16 sebanyak RM 50.00 seorang kepada pegawai dan anggota serta ahli keluarga Lahad Datu, pengadu telah memanggil dua ##### . Lahad Datu yang disyaki terlibat dengan aktiviti ini bagi mengesahkan berlaku penyerahan wang tunai kepada pegawai dan anggota serta ahli keluarga PGA Bn 17, Lahad Datu. Butir butir dua anggota tersebut adalah seperti di “PARA D”.
Kedua dua penama mengaku telah mengedarkan wang tunai bermula pada 21/09/2020 jam lebih kurang 0900hrs, kepada lebih kurang 186 di kalangan pegawai dan anggota serta ahli keluarga. Baki serahan wang sebanyak 314 keping not RM50 berjumlah RM15,700 telah dirampas oleh pengadu.
HASIL SIASATAN LANJUT.
Hasil siasatan lanjut mendapati 2 anggota yang terlibat dalam pengedaran wang ikhlas sempena Pilihanraya Negeri Dun Sabah ke 16 merupakan anggota polis yang bertugas. Pengakuan daripada 2 anggota tersebut mengatakan bahawa wang yang diagihkan tersebut adalah diterima daripada wakil Parti U*** sempena Pilihanraya Negeri Dun Sabah.

In 21/09/2020, at approximately 1445 hrs, located at the Lahad Datu Office, after the complaint received information that there was a sincere money-giving activity in conjunction with the 16th Dun Sabah State Election of RM 50.00 per person to the officers and members as well Lahad Datu family member, the complaint has called two #####. Lahad Datu suspected of being involved with this activity to confirm cash submission to officers and members and family members of PGA Bn 17, Lahad Datu. The details of the two members are like ′′ PARA D ".
Both nominee admitted to distributing cash starting at 21/09/2020 hours about 0900 hrs, to about 186 among officers and family members. The balance of 314 pieces of money is not RM50 worth RM15, 700 has been confiscated by the complaint.
RESULTS OF INVESTIGATION.
The result of further investigation found 2 members involved in the distribution of sincere money in conjunction with the 16th Dun Sabah State Election of Sabah, a police officer who was on duty. The confession of the 2 members said that the money that was distributed was received from the U *** Party representative in conjunction with the Sabah State Election.Translated
